Eligibility for Recruitment
Age: Minimum: 20 Years Maximum: 30 Years (With certain relaxations). The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates.
Relaxation of Upper age limit:

Educational Qualification: 
A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Stages of Examination
Bank P.O. recruitments comprise two stages of exams, viz.
Stage 1 Written Test:  Written test, and an interview. The written test normally comprises an objective type test and a descriptive test.
Stage 2 Common Interviews:  Candidates who clear the written test are called for interview. IBPS now have the complete control over recruiting, placing professionals in all public sector banks in India. Since they have announced that the interview will be conducted by them self and not by the participating banks. And prepare a final merit list will be used to recruit the candidates directly to the banking position.
Personal Interview is conducted to check the behaviour, conversation skill, and knowledge about banking and financial topics. Technical questions may come from your previous job (if you are already working), projects that you have done, academic subjects and about the bank also. So, prepare well on one subject from your academic curriculum, do a good research on the bank and rehearsal mock interviews.

List of Various Exams for Different Cadres 
1.    IBPS CWE Clerk for Clerical positions conducted once in a year.
2.    IBPS Specialist Officer held time to time and covers specialist positions in banks.
3.    IBPS RRB officer selection of officers to the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) governed by NABARD.
4.    IBPS CWE PO/MT for the position of Probationary Officer or Management Trainee. IBPS PO is conducted once in a year.
Online IBPS-CWE
As we know IBPS  conducts both PO and Clerk Exams  in Online Mode. So interested candidates have to familiar to online exam.
Bank Officer / Probationary Officer
A Probationary Officer (PO) in the bank is the starting level appointment for bank officers. The POs have a one or two years probation period during which they are given exposure to various important functions of the bank such as Loans & Advances, Foreign exchange, Credit Rating, Treasury, Risk Management, IT, Marketing etc.
